Stella follows me around from the moment I wake up and let her out of the crate. She hangs out with me in the bathroom, she stares intently as I make breakfast.
Stella insists on being a part of everything. When I fill the water bottle for the guinea pigs she is there making sure I do it correctly.
Stella seems to know when I am thinking about running an errand. She begins "talking" and howling until I give in and allow her to come along.
In the car she stares at me while I drive. Being an exceptionally high strung dog she can't seem to relax.
By the end of the day her intensity can get to be a bit much.
I discovered that Stella loves to be brushed before bed.
The brushing relaxes her and she begins to calm down for the first time all day.
Within minutes my hyper, over attentive puppy begins to get sleepy.
Stella sighs her little sigh and before long she begins to drift off to la la land.

Fud is 14 and shows no signs of turning into a sensible dog. He's a kelpie goofball but he's our goofball :)
Aaaahhhh!!! Stella reminds me of my Olive. I think they are about the same age. Ollie turned 2 in August. She is a Chinese Shar-Pei and very energetic...and nosy...lol
Stella sounds so much like my Happy! Except for the brushing before bed time part LOL!

Marla, I just had to add that I showed my partner these Stella photos. He sat there saying "Fud!" and "Fud!" at how similar our loopy mutts are!

Can't say I'm too keen on being brushed. Although I suppose it sends me to sleep as I usually run away and go sleep somewhere else.
my Teddy is a cattle dog mix. I dont know what it is about the Australian Cattle dog but I feel obsessed with them. love seeing photos of Stella :D
She's so cute, at least you can make her sleepy by brushing her!
